Friends Book Sale

Saturday, February 11 | 10 AM-4 PM

The Friends of the Walnut Creek Library's Book Sale is the perfect place to pick up great books at great prices. The sale will be in the Oak View Room at the Walnut Creek Library on Saturday, February 11 from 10-4. Following a short break from 2-2:30, we will hold the Bag Sale from 2:30-4 where you may purchase a grocery bag of books for $5. All proceeds from the Book Sale are used for the library collection and children's programs. Since the Book Sale may be crowded, we suggest that you wear a mask.

Combining the best of both worlds! On Valentine's Day, we will be holding an additional All Ears Reading Session, Puppy Love. Reading aloud is one of the best ways to improve reading skills. It is even more fun when you have a furry friend. With All Ears Reading, children can improve their core reading skills in a relaxed non-judgmental environment with a dog from ARF's Pet Hug Pack. These 15-minute sessions begin at 3:00pm and last until 5:00pm. Register online to get your spot today. Perfect for children in grades 1-5.
