From: Washington County Bluegrass FestivalThe annual Washington County Bluegrass Festival fuses community, the great outdoors, and homegrown bluegrass music. It's our way of celebrating a successful summer season and giving thanks to everyone for supporting Washington County Parks.
The festival backdrop is beautiful Lake Elmo Park Reserve 2,165-acre parkland, 30 miles east of the Twin Cities metro area. As a park reserve, 80% of the parks total land will be restored to pre-settlement, native vegetation. It's a great place to recreate, camp, and enjoy nature.
Bring your lawn chairs or blankets for an afternoon of enjoyment. Family Friendly. Camping available on-site, food trucks on-site, and face painting! Please, no animals or alcohol at the festival.
The Bluegrass Festival is free. A vehicle permit is required to enter the park.
Schedule of Events:
2:00pm: Blue Hazard.
3:00pm: The High 48's.
4:00pm: Chicken Wire Empire.
5:00pm: Blue Groove Bluegrass.
