Friday, July 14th, is the opening reception for the Artist Collective Show from 6-9PM! Join us for an incredible experience as the vibrant Artist Collective unleashes its creative power, taking over not just one, but ALL three galleries!
The Artist Collective is a community of local artists that support Water Street Studios' mission by fostering a mutually supportive environment that encourages community, gallery involvement, and professional growth to it’s members.

Join us for this FREE lecture about the life of Andy Warhol on July 19th at 7:00pm. Brought to you in partnership with the Warhol exhibition at the Cleve Carney Museum of Art in Glen Ellyn running June 3rd - September 10th.
Diana Martinez will share the background of Andy Warhol and his journey as a first-generation immigrant from Carpatho-Rusyn roots, to living in industrial tenements in the outskirts of Pittsburgh, to an Iconic Superstar in NYC. Martinez will explain his prolific journey and how he manifested into the American Dream. In addition, she will give you an inside sneak peek into the blockbuster Warhol exhibition coming this summer to the McAninch Arts Center and Cleve Carney Museum of Art.

Pop Art Pets
July 22nd 10-11:30am
(Ages 6-12)
Get inspired by Andy Warhol’s “So Meow” print from 1958! We will learn about Warhol, then create our own version of the print using a multi-media process including collage, drawing, and printmaking. Students will leave with their unique creations, and knowledge of Andy Warhol's artwork!
Pop Art Ice Cream
July 18th 6-8pm
(Ages 16+)
Be inspired by Andy Warhol’s ice cream cones! We will learn about Warhol as we create our own embellished ice cream art using pattern and ornamentation. Artists will draw their art using pencil and learn color pencil blending techniques. This class will be fun, relaxing, and sure to bring out the kid in you!
Amazing Alebrijes
July 19th-Aug 9th 3-5pm
(Ages 11-14)
Students will use their imagination to design new creatures in the style of Mexican Alebrijes, Alebrijes are a folk art tradition in Mexico. Students will learn about the history of Alebrijes, how to make and design their own sculpture animal and leave class with one of a kind delightful artistic creations!
Community Drop-In
Join us over at Water Street Studios on July 23rd 1:00-3:00pm for our in-person Community Drop In! Come create kid friendly and process-art based projects inspired by Andy Warhol. Led by Resident Artists and School of Art Instructor Carly Palmer and Emy Krause. All are welcome!
