Enjoy rad fun like a cake walk, hockey shoot out, snowshoe/walk, birthday trivia, live birthday jackpot game, ruby cup grab game, DJ and more! Activities from 5:00 - 7:30 pm. Ice skating, sledding, and a bonfire too!
5:00 - 7:30 pm : Legit Ice and Snow Sculpting Demo - Lowell Park
Come watch the internationally acclaimed pros as they create an amazing winter scene that combines thousands upon thousands of pounds of ice and snow into an amazing sculpture. Cool beans!
5:00 - 9:00 pm : Jammin' JanBoree Beer Garden - Lowell Park
"Party on, dudes!" Stop by for family-friendly fun including a DJ and games. Tent will be heated and Raised Grain Brewing Co. Products will be sold. Must be 21+ to purchase or consume beer. No carry-in of alcohol allowed.
8:00 PM : Jan-BOOM-Eree Fireworks - Lowell Park
Fireworks in a winter sky-"fer sure!" We're celebrating the Waukesha JanBoree going back to the 80's when it all started. Watch for the "rubies" in the sky as we celebrate 40 years.

9:00 am - Noon : 21st Annual Geocaching Event - Rotary Building
Geocaching, a global game of treasure hunting using longitude and latitude coordinates, is fun for all ages. With your smart phone or GPS and internet access, you are ready to explore and search for a "geocache." Presentation will focus on basics to get started in the eco and family friendly sport. Learn how to explore parks in a new way!
9:30 - 11:00 am : Make and Play Workshop - White Rock Campus
Join the School District of Waukesha and Community 4K partners for JanBoree's 40th birthday celebration! Enjoy making ruby spinners, decorate mascot-themed crafts, color a fuzzy poster, and design your own paper wreath! Parking is behind the building.
10:00 am - 2:00 pm : Airport Fly-In - Waukesha County Airport, Crites Field
Wear your favorite aviation related gear and learn about airplanes, flying, becoming a pilot, getting into the aviation industry and more. Multiple aeronautical organizations will be participating. Hands on activities will be provided, and all aviation enthusiasts are welcome!
11:00 am - 2:00 pm : Winter Wildlife Exploration - Retzer Nature Center
Set out on the trails at Retzer Nature Center in search of winter wildlife. This self-guided hike includes a map with key highlights on the trail and a scavenger hunt! Explore the nature trails on your own by hiking on foot or with free use of snowshoes, if snow cover is adequate. First come, first served.
1:00 - 4:00 pm : Waukesha North 50th Anniversary Celebration - Waukesha North High School
North Open House and Tours 1:00-3:00pm featuring class murals, panoramic photos and classroom changes. 50th anniversary Celebration Assembly 3:00-4:00pm featuring multigenerational band and cheer performances, images and speakers from the decades.

Winter Tyke Hike
We can tell a lot about animals by signs they leave behind. Children, 2-5 years old, with an adult, can search for signs. Snowshoes available or bring your own (quantities limited). Trail hike replaces snowshoeing if snow cover is not adequate. Participants must be accompanied by an adult. Limited to 25 children.

6:00 - 7:15 pm : Everyday Astronomer: Citizen Science - Horwitz-DeRemer Planetarium & Retzer Nature Center
Come learn how you can study the stars and planets and participate in citizen science with no equipment. Our presenter has logged over 200 citizen science missions and will talk about how you can get involved as a family or amateur from any location.
5:30 - 6:30 pm or 6:45 - 7:45 pm : Lil' Chill & Cool Blu Cookie Decorating - Schuetze Recreation Center, Meeting Room
Decorate cookies that look as good as they taste following step by step instructions. Participants under the age of 16 must attend with an adult. Cost: $10 per person

Bring leg warmers and prepare for an unforgettable journey back in time. Enjoy four 80's themed stations around the river; free hot chocolate, and each registrant receives a totally tubular glow stick flashlight or LED crown to make the 1.7-mile walk. Come in your best 80's fashion.
5:00 - 7:30 pm : Gems At The Gym
Join us for a family-fun evening of games, arts and crafts, obstacle course, and more! Collect hidden gems as you travel across the YMCA!

Bring the whole family to enjoy the Frosty 5K in Frame Park, managed by Silver Circle Sports Events. Early registration discount, $40 race day. Free t-shirt for early registrants & free hot chocolate. Kids race a 1K free with parent registration. Timed race, awards to top 3 men/women in five year age categories. The whole family can enjoy this 5K Run/Walk. The route begins and ends at Frame Park.

Watch invited carvers compete for prize money and bragging rights as they sculpt large blocks of ice into master pieces!

The Waukesha JanBoree Family Concert is sure to thrill audience members of all ages! Embark on a musical journey with enchanting melodies that bring lions, elephants and turtles to life accompanied by whimsical orchestration. Instrument petting zoo, 1:00 - 2:00 pm. Concert 2:00 - 3:30 pm. Children are FREE, Adults $10 at the door.
