Fall is peak migration time along the Hudson River and we have a front row seat! Birders of all skill levels are invited to engage with birds large and small in our fall gardens. Registration is required for all adult birding programs; space is limited.
Indigenous Peoples’ Day Birding

Join Bronx-based BIPOC birder Haley Scott from the Feminist Bird Club on a birding walk with an indigenous perspective. Hear about the effects of colonialism on bird populations and how common bird names evolved from the Algonquin language to reflect the language of European settlers.

Enjoy a casual birding experience with Bronx birder Haley Scott from the Feminist Bird Club. Starting with a brief introduction and informal chat, proceed at a leisurely pace along paved paths and open lawns of Wave Hill to observe birds during fall migration season.
