On Wednesday, 1/31 at 6:30PM, learn how various life stressors can impact your mental health and what skills you can utilize to take care of your mental wellness. In addition, symptoms of anxiety and depression will be reviewed, along with coping skills for managing symptoms, and the importance of self-care. Meets in the Noah Webster Library Meeting Room.
Islam 101: Beliefs and Practices
Join Aida Mansoor of the Muslim Coalition of Connecticut, on Tuesday, 1/30 at 6:30PM when she cover the five pillars of Islam, which include the testament of faith, prayer, fasting during Ramadan, the pilgrimage to Mecca, and charity. Scriptural foundations of Islam such as the Holy Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad will also be discussed. This is a virtual program and requires registration.
US Citizenship Test
Do you need help preparing for your U.S. Citizenship test? There is free U.S. citizenship preparation assistance available. Familiarize yourself with the N400 Citizenship application. Learn about history and government. Prepare for your naturalization interview. Borrow our USCIS citizenship tool kit, available Mondays 1-4PM in Faxon Branch Library. One-on-One Tech Help at the Faxon Library

Painted Ponies: Life Drawing at the Carousel Museum
All ages. Join us on Thursday, 1/25 at 6PM for a free evening of unusual life drawing at the Carousel Museum in Bristol, CT. Studio 20 South Coordinator and local artist Samuel Ferri & Museum Docent Cate Mahoney will offer insights into the unique history, craft, and the meaning behind an incredible collection of carved bestiary. No experience necessary! Art supplies will be provided. Registration required. This program takes place at the Carousel Museum, 95 Riverside Ave, Bristol, CT.

Grades 6-12: Make some Valentine wall art on Saturday, 2/10 at 10:15AM using an array of craft supplies! Seats are limited. Register online.
