Practice English Classes
If you are a speaker of a language other than English and you would like to learn to practice English, please contact Pramod Pradhan, Community Engagement Librarian, at the Faxon Branch Library - 860-561-8202. This is an adult intermediate level English class for people with some English experience. Fridays, 10AM-12PM.

Make Your Heart Pretty
This Saturday, create a heartfelt Valentine’s Day gift with Studio 20 South. Use our Cricut machine, old pages of Life magazine, and your own creativity to design a unique and beautiful collage card for your loved one! The event includes a live collage demonstration by renowned local artist Antony Zito. Supplies will be provided and the program is open to all ages. Patrons are welcome to walk in on the day of the event or register ahead for two and make it a date! Saturday, 2/11 at 12PM.
Comprehensive Retirement Planning
Join the Father/Daughter Team of Lou and Jessica Pelletier for an Interactive Comprehensive Retirement Planning Workshop. They will be discussing new laws, Social Security, 401K/403B, IRAs, assets, life insurance, and what legal documents you should have in retirement. Thursday, 2/21 at 6:30PM.
Items Needed For Ukraine
The war in Ukraine is not over. The need continues. You have helped before. Will you please help again? The collection is currently looking for electric hand warmers and tourniquets. For a full list of items, please click here. Collection will take place in all three West Hartford Public Library buildings ending February 11.
