Medical Cannabis 101

The Medical Cannabis 101 presentation will discuss the history of cannabis, what cannabis is, the different types, and how it can help relieve a multitude of symptoms. We will delve into the Endocannabinoid System (ECS) and discuss why it is arguably one of the most important medical discoveries of the 20th century (and the least understood within the medical community). Your Home is a Habitat!

This fall, learn how to transform your backyard (of any size!) into a living, breathing healthy habitat for you, your family, and your pets – hint, leave the leaves! The presenters are the Sustainable Land Care Working Group, part of the new Sustainable West Hartford Commission, and they have many combined years as Master Gardeners (UCONN Extension program) with practical experience in habitat restoration, pollinator / rain gardens, native plant garden design, organic lawn care, and more. Crafting with Kate Fall Wreath Making

Take a trip to Studio 20 and create a fall wreath with paper roses and leaves from text from your favorite books! Combine them with some dried flowers and a ribbon, and you've got yourself a one-of-a-kind fall decoration with lots of meaning! Wednesday, 11/15 at 5PM.
