Summer Reading

It’s that time of year again! With the end of the school year fast approaching, we’re gearing up at the Weston Public Library for our annual Summer Reading Challenge. This year’s theme is “All Together Now” with a focus on teamwork, togetherness, and exploring community.

All Together Now

Every registrant for this year's Summer Reading Program will receive a Weston Public Library tote bag upon sign-up. Stop by our kickoff party on June 23rd to pick up your bag and begin decorating it with us! We then encourage families to continue reading together throughout the summer to earn unique opportunities to further personalize their bags at the library. At the end of the summer, each participant will have a totally one-of-a-kind memento to celebrate the accomplishment of a summer spent reading with family and friends. 

Tracking

Along with customizable tote bags, readers will also have opportunities to earn raffle tickets that can be applied toward different end-of-summer prizes. Those tracking through the Beanstack app will be alerted through the app when they have the opportunity to stop by the library to pick up swag for their bags or raffle tickets for prizes. On top of minutes being read, readers can complete additional tasks and challenges to gain further raffle entries. 

Wrapping Up

Prizes will then be awarded at the conclusion of the Summer Reading program on August 18th. 8 whole weeks to participate!
