Friends of the Library Short Story Hour

Like an old-fashioned radio hour, participants will listen to a classic short story, followed by a discussion. No preparation is necessary.

We are offering this Zoom presentation to help families understand how the lingering effects from the pandemic have changed the college admissions landscape and how it affects Juniors, Sophomores and Freshmen.

The End of Drum-time by Hanna Pylvainen  In 1851, at a remote village in the Scandinavian tundra, a Lutheran minister known as Mad Lasse tries in vain to convert the native Sámi reindeer herders to his faith.
