The Wichita Police Department (WPD) is investigating a shooting that fatally injured 44-yearold Shawn Lahman of Wichita.

At approximately 11:20 pm, Officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of South Edwards for an unknown call for police. They arrived on the scene and located Lahman in the front seat of a passenger van with a gunshot wound to the upper torso. EMS would pronounce Lahman deceased on the scene.
