Pick up a copy of the cookbook (or find a recipe from the book online), register on the library events calendar and record your recipe. Bring your dish to the meeting and enjoy sampling everyone’s dishes! Located in the Large Conference Room.

Afternoon Concert: Rodney Mashia: A Tribute to African American Musicians

Enjoy a concert with singer and guitarist Rodney Mashia, featuring songs of jazz, gospel, soul, folk and pop made famous by African American singers, songwriters and composers. Born in New Orleans and raised in rural Louisiana, Mashia has spent decades using his inspirational music to touch hearts and make folks smile. With his music he explores both the black and white American political system and musical cultures of the past five decades. Located in the Large Conference Room.

If you are unemployed and actively looking, underemployed, seeking a new career direction, re-entering the job market after a long employment gap, or recently retired and looking for your "Encore Career", this networking group program is perfect for you! Each meeting features a new topic. Meetings include a presentation and hands-on workshop on topics relevant to career transition, guest speakers, access to hiring managers, small group breakout rooms to network, and 1-on-1 coaching guidance. Each biweekly meeting is facilitated by Deborah Hope, MBA, PCIC, an experienced executive career coach. Virtual event held over Zoom.
