From: Windsor Historical SocietyNew Brochure Highlights Local Arts and Museum Collaboration
Seven Windsor attractions have joined forces this year to promote the town and its many cultural destinations. The collaboration, called the Windsor Arts & Museum Association, has contracted CTM Media Group to distribute the new brochure to dozens of tourist sites throughout the state beginning this month. The new brochure, designed by Sue Tait Porcaro of 2 Lips Art Design, invites people to “Visit Windsor! A diverse community rich in history, arts and fun!” and features all seven sites as well as the comprehensive TourWindsorCT.org website.
The Windsor Arts and Museum Association is a collaboration of seven museums, arts and cultural organizations located in Windsor, Connecticut. Participating organizations include the Connecticut Valley Tobacco Museum, Mercy Gallery at Loomis Chaffee School, Oliver Ellsworth Homestead, The Vintage Radio and Communications Museum, Windsor Art Center, Windsor Freedom Trail, and Windsor Historical Society.
Windsor also offers a wide range of restaurants and shops to help you make a full day experience right here in town! For a complete listing of all Windsor attractions, as well as historical information and walking tours, visit tourwindsorct.org to help plan your day with us!
Look for the new brochure at tourist sites up and down the I-84 and I-91 corridors over the next 12 months, and at local sites such as the Windsor Chamber of Commerce Visitor Center and WAMA partner sites. For details, hours of operation and directions for each site, check organization web sites listed below.
