The Green Terror stifling defense was able to fend off the Fords for the remainder of the second half, as McDaniel claimed a 2-0 victory over the Scarlet and Black. The Green Terror held a 12-4 advantage over the Fords in shots, but were able to steer only three of those shots on net.
