From: Woodland Opera House TheatreFinal Week of our End-of-Year Campaign
Please consider Giving
As we near the end of 2022, our fundraising campaign, Cultivate-Educate-Elevate, Growth Through Giving will soon come to a conclusion. We are very close to reaching our $40,000 goal, with $31,155 currently. Just $8,800 to go - how exciting!
Many thanks go to those who have already made a contribution, and we give special thanks to Tom and Meg Stallard for their generous matching gift of $15,000. Will you please consider making a tax-deductible donation?
Our theme for the campaign brings to mind the Woodland Opera House Guild. They acknowledge each of our aspirations by providing invaluable support. Guild members Cultivate a respect for the theatre and theatre arts by giving of themselves and their talents via volunteering to support our operation. They Educate our community by providing tours of our building, making theatre goers more aware of our history, and encouraging the preservation of it. Members also Elevate your theatre experience by providing ushers and concessions services, as well as backstage and technical crew help for each production. The giving spirit is truly alive within the Guild, and we are grateful for that!
You can make a difference, too! A gift in any amount is greatly appreciated, and we have several options in how to donate:
- Donate online at the button below.
- Send a check to Woodland Opera House, P.O. Box 1425, Woodland, CA 95776

Treasure Island
A Musical Adventure
January 13-22, 2023
Purchase Tickets Here
In just over two weeks our Theatre For Families production of Treasure Island, A Musical Adventure will open! Great for all ages, this show is a musical adaptation of the favorite childhood adventure story by Robert Louis Stevenson. It tells the tale of pirates, treasure maps, mutiny on the high seas, and pieces of eight while following Jim Hawkins, an ordinary youth who is drawn into a dangerous race for buried treasure against the treacherous Long John Silver.
Our cast of pirate actors have been working hard to bring this colorful production to you. Seen here at a recent promotional photo shoot with KLJ Studios are Kate Loscutoff (Jim Hawkins) and David Cross (Long John Silver).
Audiences can expect a lively show that will include such “arrgh”-uably toe-tapping songs as “Fifteen Men,” “Away to Sea,” and “Where Your Treasure Lies.” Directed and choreographed by Jeff Teague, you know that this will be a special production! Don't delay, be sure to get your tickets soon, mateys!

Huge Success with our Annual Toy Drive
Thank you to everyone who donated to our Annual Toy Drive. We were thrilled to receive so many donations that our collection box was filled twice!
Pictured are Sherri and Nathan with Woodland Memorial Hospital-Dignity Health. They were delighted when we dropped off donations to the hospital this past week. Other local agencies that benefited from our drive were Yolo County Multidisciplinary Interview Center and the Yolo County Office of Education Head Start.
Holiday Fun at Storytime with Santa!
Look who dropped by the WOH last week! Our young friends were thrilled that Santa took some time out of his busy schedule to come by and visit.
While with the children, he read a story and spoke with each of them. He also posed for photos, which made for a very special and memorable time.
