Pirates, aargh! In a week and a half our historic stage will be taken over by them! Batten down the hatches mateys, and get ready for an exciting show for the whole family!

Our Theatre For Families production of Treasure Island, A Musical Adventure opens on Friday, January 13th at 7:30 p.m. A musical adaptation of the favorite childhood adventure story by Robert Louis Stevenson, this show offers a raucous tale, treasure maps, mutiny on the high seas, and an array of sea shanties and musical numbers that will keep your toes tapping! Performances are on Fridays at 7:30 p.m., as well as Saturdays and Sundays at 2:00 p.m. through January 22.

Tickets for the show will be available soon. We are currently updating our ticketing system and we hope to be back online with a newer and better system before you know it! Please check ticket availability by using the button below or at our Box Office (530) 666-9617 / 340 Second Street, Woodland. Reserved seats are $20 for adults, $18 for seniors 62+, and $10 for children 17 and under. Balcony tickets are $12 for adults and $7 for children. Flex Pass specials and group rates are available.

We are committed to protecting the health and safety of our students and community by following the guidelines provided by Yolo County and the CDC. In accordance with the latest guidelines, the Theatre And Dance Annex (TADA) is now masks optional. We highly encourage families to make the best decision for their students. We will still have masks available on hand and will be following proper sanitization standards to ensure a healthy environment for all. Spring Workshops

Acting A to Z 

Ages 9 Through 12 Years Old

Tuesdays at 5:00 p.m.

(Class workshop length :55 minutes)

Teen Acting Workshop 

Ages 13 Through 18 (Senior in HS)

Tuesdays at 6:00 p.m. (Class workshop Length :55 Minutes)

Our Acting Workshops will be back again this spring allowing new and veteran young actors the chance to study and learn the acting craft! Each class becomes more nuanced as the students get older, allowing age-appropriate material to be covered. Each workshop is 55 minutes in length and is taught by Woodland Opera House veteran actor and drama teacher, Karen Fox. These workshops are recommended to be repeated and are not to be missed if one wants to become a better, stronger performer.

This class is held at the Woodland Opera House Theatre – 340 2nd Street, 3^rd Floor.

 Workshop Length: 6 weeks, February 28th through April 4th. Tuition: $115

 Please wear comfortable clothes that you can move well in, bring water, and a notebook.

Show Biz Kidz Musical Theatre Summer Camp

Show Biz Kidz 2023: "Broadway, Here I Come!"

June 26th-July 23rd 2023

Join us for our 26th year bringing musical theatre education to Yolo County! Show Biz Kidz is a 4-week summer camp where students of all levels get to learn musical theatre skills and techniques all while putting together a fully produced musical revue! TADA Teaching Artists assist campers in learning dance and choreography fundamentals, character development, music and voice theory, and acting skills; everything that is essential for performing onstage! Campers ages 8 to 10 years old and 11 to 17 years old attend 5 days a week for 3 hours per day. Our youngest campers, our 5 to 7-year-olds (please note: 5-year-olds must have completed Kindergarten), join us three days a week for an hour a day.

This camp sells out so enroll early! 

 Morning Session: Ages 8 through 10 years old

Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Tuition: $400.00

Afternoon Session: Ages 11 through 17 years old

Monday through Friday, 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Tuition: $400.00

Juniors: Ages 5* through 7 years old (must have completed Kindergarten)

Monday-Wednesday-Friday: 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Tuition: $200.00

The start of a new calendar year reminds us that the second half of the theater season at Woodland Opera House is fast approaching, and we could not be more excited about the slate of upcoming shows!
