Get ready for a spook-tacular time at ZooBoo, October 18-20!

Join us for a weekend full of family fun, candy, and Halloween excitement for all ages.

Schedule of Events:

Friday, October 18:

Family Fun Boo Run is a new ZooBoo tradition!

5:30 pm: Registration in the plaza—get your Zoo Run race bib and glow necklace. Warm up with pre-race yoga on the Primate Lawn. Come in costume for extra fun!
Follow a 1.5-mile path around the zoo, guided by special lights.

Post-Race: Enjoy popcorn snacks, warm up at our heater stations, and watch kids receive Halloween medals.

7:45 pm: Cap off the evening with the spectacular South Dakota Aerial Fire Show!

The zoo closes at 9 PM. Don't miss this fun-filled family evening! (Friday night will not include vendors and trick or treating.)

Saturday, October 19:

9-10 am: Sensory Hour
Your Great Plains Zoo is dedicated to being an inclusive place for all! This year, we've added an extra hour to ZooBoo for guests with sensory processing needs. During this time, capacity will be limited for a more comfortable experience. Please reserve this time only if needed, so everyone can enjoy a memorable ZooBoo! ?

10 am–5 pm: Regular hours with spooky fun! Trick or treat with our local vendors. Meet your favorite characters from Simply Ever After, enjoy candy, and your favorite animals!

Sunday, October 20:

10 am–5 pm: Final day of ZooBoo! Trick or treat with our local vendors. More characters from Simply Ever After, candy, and more.
