The mission of the Abilene Chamber of Commerce is to develop and promote the economy and quality of life in the Abilene area.

Retain, expand and service the membership base.
Retain and expand existing businesses.
Attract outside investment.
Serve as an advocate in local, state and national government affairs.
Improve the quality of life in the Abilene area.

About Us

The Abilene Chamber of Commerce gears all of its efforts toward its mission, a mission that has remained the same for many years, to develop and promote the economy and quality of life in the Abilene area. These efforts include:

Attraction of new jobs and payrolls to Abilene
Development of our area as a tourist and convention destination
Representation of Abilene on state and national issues that affect our economy in a direct manner
Continued support and growth of Dyess Air Force Base
Expansion of small businesses
Enhancement of educational opportunities in Abilene
Promotion of cultural activities
