The Ahoskie Chamber of Commerce is eager to assist you with information about our area. The chamber is organized for the purpose of advancing the economic, industrial, professional, cultural and civic welfare of the Ahoskie area; to encourage the growth of existing industries and businesses while giving all proper assistance to any new firms or individuals seeking to locate in the Ahoskie area; to support all those activities believed to be beneficial to the community and area; to oppose those which might be detrimental, and in general, to promote the welfare of all area citizens, following always those policies intended to accomplish the greatest good for the greatest number. The chamber is non-profit, non-partisan, non-sectarian and non-political.

Ahoskie is nestled in northeastern North Carolina, centered between Norfolk, VA (to the north), Greenville, N.C. (to the south), the Outer Banks of N.C. (to the east) and Roanoke Rapids, N.C. (to the west). A friendly town, Ahoskie is the largest town in Hertford County and serves as the retail and medical center of the area. Our residents and visitors enjoy the recreation offered by the nearby Chowan River and miles of streams as well as the acres of forest land.
