Angel of Hope House is located at 1139 17th Street, NW, Hickory, NC, was established in 2005, by Owen Shoup. The goal of the organization is to help the women to gain re-entry into society through, first, detoxification, second, rehabilitation, then, gaining social skills, which will allow them to return to society and become a productive component within society, with their newly acquired tools, resources and network.
