OUR MISSION At Archbold United Methodist Church, our mission is to build authentic community where we “Reach Up” to grow in our relationship with God in order to be empowered to “Reach Out” to introduce others to Christ and to transform the world. This mission motto, “Reaching Up and Reaching Out,” refers to Jesus’ Great Commandment and also to the Great Commission: “Love God with all of your heart, soul, mind and strength and your neighbor as yourself” and “Go, therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you.”
