The Gasconade County Historical Society Archives & Records Center is a one-stop facility for genealogical and general history research about Gasconade County.
The facility is located at 315 Schiller Street at the corner of 4th & Schiller in downtown Hermann, across the street from the German School Museum and Clock Tower, in a 1909 brick building that was originally built for Farmers & Merchants Bank.
A bright and cheery reading/research room and Society volunteers greet visitors.
Experienced volunteers assist researchers as much or as little as they desire. Researchers work in the first-floor reading room and volunteers retrieve records from other levels as requested.
Microfilm reader/printers are available. Volunteers make photo copies as requested. Copies are $1.00 each for non-members and $.50 for Society members.
