The Avon Chamber of Commerce is a vibrant, innovative group of 300+ businesses representing over 3200 local jobs and fueling the FarmingtonValley with millions of dollars in property taxes and economic impact. Our diverse businesses range from high technology solutions providers to manufacturers who create precision components which are sold around the world. Avon Chamber members also include prestigious consulting firms, as well as owners of restaurants and lodging that meet the needs of our clients, friends and families.

Avon is fortunate to be situated along Route 44, the commercial main street of the FarmingtonValley. Our unique "old world, new world" blend of quaint shops and nationally known stores offers more than one million square feet of retail shopping as well as historic and cultural venues. The chamber serves as the primary business advocate for this prominent retail corridor and many other businesses in the Valley.

The Avon Chamber of Commerce is committed to facilitating the growth and success of all these businesses, as well as the entire region. Last year's accomplishments include: working with local and state governments on numerous issues impacting our members; delivering educational forums for dozens of businesses; hosting networking events attended by hundreds of entrepreneurs and corporations; and co-sponsoring a comprehensive economic survey by the Center for Research and Analysis at the University of Connecticut: the first Chamber sponsored study of its kind in the state.
