Mission:

My mother never read anything but the Bible. Once, however, when she was already quite old she read “The Godfather”.

I asked her about it and she said. “I’m not interested in the story, and I can’t really follow the plot, I’m just interested in the details. For instance there’s this grandmother and she’s frying peppers on the stove, and making pepper sandwiches. It’s such an ordinary thing but I find it facinating, I don’t know why”

But my mother used to fry peppers on the stove, and make pepper sandwiches. Mario Puzo made my mother view herself as a work of art.

And that is the mission of our gallery, to make you realize that your existence is a work of art.
