About Us:
The Library, serving the 11,500 residents of Babylon Union Free School District, has been a community center since 1895; first as the Babylon Library Association, then the Babylon Village Library, and more recently as the Babylon Public Library. The Library's fundamental mission has changed little in over a century: "To Serve the Information Needs of the Babylon Community." Toward this end, the Library provides the public with access to a wide range of information sources in many formats: books, periodicals, newspapers, videos, DVDs, audio tapes, CDs, CD-ROMs and Internet access, both in the Library and from home.
The Babylon Public Library provides its users with a wide range of library materials, covering a wide range of interests and subjects, in a variety of formats, organized in a manner that allows users to find the information they need quickly.
