Baxter Community School, located in the heart of Baxter, serves more than 400 students, Kindergarten thru 12th grade. Students are bussed from a surrounding rural area of 69-square miles.

The mission of the Baxter Community Schools,in partnership with the community, is to provide a positive educational experience nurtured by a caring attitude, and to create a foundation for continued learning in a changing world; to maintain visionary leadership in a stable and pleasant environment while challenging all members of our educational community.
