Bear-Foot Farms
We offer six to nine items of what ever the farm has ready to harvest that week. We also start you off with different dried herbs and new recipes every week to make cooking your veggies more interesting. We do not make you take anything in your box that you will not eat. We will always offer substatutions for items you just will not eat. We would rather do an exchange then see it go to waste. We also only count the number of times you pick up vs. how many weeks have gone by. That way those members who go on vacation or must leave for business for a couple of weeks will still get the full twenty-two weeks they paid for.

Things have recently changed here at Bear-Foot. As of August 20 2010 we voluntarily surrendered our Organic Certification. We are not going to change the way we farm we are just not going to pay the USDA to let us use the word organic. We have recently come across so much fraud in this area and it seems the only ones being checked are those of us who were trying to do everything right and legal. Any one and every one seems to say they are organic when in fact many of those claiming this we know are not. We believe at this point in our history enough people know us and know of our integrity that they can feel safe when we say our farming practices will stay the same as they alway have been.
