Bedford's Energy Task Force is an ad hoc town committee that formed during the summer of 2008 under the authorization of the Bedford Selectmen. The mission of the Energy Task Force is as follows: "Working in conjunction with town leadership, the Task Force will proactively seek to identify strategies and potential funding partnerships in order to lower municipal and school energy expenditures and community greenhouse gas emissions."
