BMC is a local non-profit organization whose mission is to develop and promote access to electronic communications media. We provide training, technology and transmission over three local access TV channels (8, 9, 96) to the residents of Belmont. In the near future, we expect to provide public access to digital media via the Internet and by way of a truly interactive web site.

Currently, our flagship Public Access Channel 8 offers a wide variety of locally produced programs (click at top left to view the current schedule). Channel 9 offers Educational Access programming from Belmont High School and Channel 96 runs a 24/7 Electronic Community Bulletin Board.

There is an exciting future ahead in the continuing convergence of mass media, computers and communications that will affect our lives at home, at work, and at play
