Academic programs of study give students a rigorous educational experience which will enable all students to learn the skills and acquire the knowledge necessary for them to succeed.

The District operates four elementary schools - Caldwell, Grant, Perrin and Ringgold, as well as Benton High, Junior High, and Middle Schools and the Alternative Learning Center.
Benton is well known and admired statewide for the quality of its education. We take that reputation seriously and constantly strive to maintain and improve the education given to our city's children.

The Benton School District strives for excellence through continuous school improvement and for creating opportunities for all students' success in becoming proficient in content areas especially emphasizing literacy and mathematics, preparting students in becoming life-long learners and productive members of a technologically-driven society, as well as instilling a desire for ethically-sound behavior, integrity, and good citizenship.
