Shares include a wide variety of produce intended to meet the needs of a family of four or two veggie-loving adults. In addition to standard vegetables (lettuce, cucumbers, green beans, carrots, onions, tomatoes, peppers, basil, parsley), you will also receive a selection of specialty vegetables and herbs to widen your culinary experiences. I strive to find the best examples of each vegetable, with an emphasis on heirloom varieties.

Big City Farms specializes in growing heirloom and open-pollinated vegetables on vacant lots in downtown Indianapolis. The operation is committed to bringing farming back into the urban environment. The produce is availabe through a CSA program that runs from June through October, in addition to limited sales at the Indianapolis Winter Farmers Market.
