The Blue Note Ballroom was orginally a lumber yard owned by Lesters Inc. It was converted into a ballroom in the mid 1950's and has since added a restaurant, bar and liquor store. The lastest construction took place in March of 2001 with the remodeling of our banquet room along with new shelving in the liquor store. The best thing about the Blue Note is its diversity. We offer both short orders and full entrees in the restaurant, a wide range of beers and cocktails in the bar, all your party supplies in the liquor store, and the catering staff can handle any banquet or wedding needs.

Throught the years, the Blue Note has become an icon to the town of Winsted because of the entertainment that has played there and the services it has provided. It has been given the chance to grow along with its community which allows its amenities to stay fresh and new.
