Howdy to all of our cybre pards out thar. We shur do hope that ya will find the time ta come and set a spell once in awhile. The Monroe Chester Sportsman Club has its very own posse of cowpokes, gamblers, scouts, scoundrels, lawmen and desperadoes, The Boot Hill Regulators. If ya have a hankering ta burn a little powder with us, please saddle yer horse and come on over ta our spread. We are a Cowboy Action Shooting (CAS) club, affiliated with the Single Action Shooting Society (SASS) and the National Rifle Association (NRA).

We get together for a shoot on the first Sunday of every month just as soon as the snow melts, reckon ’round April. We generally have 20-40 shooters at our monthly events. Registration runs from 8:30-9:30 AM. There is a mandatory safety meeting for all shooters at 9:30 AM. Shooting starts at 10 AM and runs ’til round about 3 PM (3 stages in the morning, a break for vittles and 2 stages in the afternoon). The registration fee is $15.

Our Cowboy Shoots are open events and we invite all who have an interest in this type of shooting to come and take part in the fun and excitement. Ya don’t need to be a member of the club. Spend a morning/afternoon with us, enjoy the companionship of fellow shooters and leave your worries at home. As with all shooting events at the range, eye and ear protection is required for all participants and spectators.
