The Boulder Belt Farm Share Initiative 2011 season starts April 13th and ends Oct 12th for 27 weeks of great, sustainably grown, local food. We offer four different ways to join the Boulder Belt FSI, full season whole share, full season 1/2 share, three month subscription (full share) or by the month (full share).

We have on farm pick up only. But our members who live in the same area like to share driving duties so it is rare that members have to pick up more than once a month. We have groups from Oxford, West Chester/Fairfield, Dayton and Richmond, IN participating in our program

Shares consist of 8 to 12 seasonal items, around 5 to 6 pounds in the spring. The shares swell to over 25 pounds during the late summer/fall season. This should feed 2 to 3 vegetarians or omnivores who eat a plant based diet or 4 to 6 omnivores that don't eat a whole lot of veggies. If this seems like too much than buy a 1/2 share.

Boulder Belt Eco-Farm, run by Eugene and Lucy Goodman, is a small sustainable, diversified farm that raises a wide variety of fruits, veggies herbs and pastured poultry for direct sale to the public. We were certified organic for 8 years by OEFFA but organic certification was dropped voluntarily in 2002 when the USDA took over and started weakening organic standards

We are located in Preble County Ohio, just 1 mile north of Eaton on US 127 at the top of the 40' foot pitch. We are committed to raising the best, sustainably grown food you can buy (much of it from heirloom crops) and to growing local food systems in SW Ohio. Boulder Belt Eco Farm sells its' food and other sundries right off the farm at our beautiful Farm store
