Mission Statement:  To inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Wayne County’s primary activities are after school educational programs.  As with all Boys & Girls Clubs we conduct a wide array of daily programming falling under one of three Primary Outcomes:  Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles and Good Character & Citizenship.  In fact, we were presented with the Merit Award for “Best Overall Programming” in the country within the Boys & Girls Club movement.  But as an organization we have placed particular focus on Academic Success.  During recent years we have transformed from an organization that helped with homework and offered enjoyable academic activities to one that reaches out to children across the county and changes their lives.
