The mission of the Branford Police Department is to serve the community and deliver public safety by safeguarding lives, property and the general quality of life. We endeavor to protect our community against the behaviors of deception, oppression, violence and disorder. It is our intent to preserve the Constitutional rights of all persons and our ambition to serve our community while exemplifying the qualities of honor, integrity, and compassion.

Our officers are expected to act with honesty, and a sense of pride in carrying out their duties.
