About
The Briarcliff Manor Garden Club was founded in 1955.
"Our purpose is to provide education and knowledge in the culture of flowers, fruits, vegetables and trees; to educate in flower design, landscaping, garden planning, nature study and conservation of our natural resources; to assist and promote beautification of our streets, highways and grounds around public buildings."
The Briarcliff Manor Garden Club is a membership organization...and we welcome any and all who are interested in plants, floral design and gardens!
We meet the second Wednesday of the month from 11:45-2:00, from September to June. Our meetings include luncheon and an educational program (a speaker or design workshop).
Our club funds a number of on-going community activities, including:
-Garden therapy for residents of Briarcliff Manor Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing Care
-Village beautification
-Library flower arrangements
-High School scholarships
-Plant Sale (the day before Mother's Day)
All meetings are on Wednesdays and begin at 11:45pm and include lunch. Program starts at 1:00 pm.
