Since 1966 the Brownstown Exchange Club has contributed more than $400,000 to the community.
Thank you for your interest in the Brownstown Exchange Club! Our sponsors combined with our annual fund raising activities have enabled us to broaden our support of important civic and youth oriented projects. Together we returned over $11,000 to the community last year!
Our achievements in 2010 and 2011 included continuing efforts to prevent child abuse through donations to Social Services and the Anchor House. We supported the Brownstown Central Academic Team, the Brownstown Foundation, the Jackson County Dare Program, the Red Cross, Crime Prevention Week, Fireman Recognition and Fire Prevention Week, Brownstown Central High School Youth of the Month and Youth of the Year Scholarship, the 4-H Youth Camps to list just a few.
The 2011 Brownstown Exchange Club fund raisers include the Pancake Breakfast in March, the Round Barn Bicycle Ride in July, the Hog Raffle and Melon Fest 5K Walk/Run in September and the Fort Vallonia Days 5K Walk/Run in October. All of the proceeds of these fund-raising events and your sponsorship will be used locally to support the Brownstown and Jackson County communities.
