Mission:
Calaveras Unified School District is to provide all individuals with the tools needed to become life long learners who responsibly participate in our diverse changing society.

We further affirm that the purposes of education are to:

2. Achieve high academic standards in a safe school environment.
3. Make informed, moral, ethical, and responsible decisions.
Calaveras Unified School District has a student population of over 3,744. Currently, there are six elementary schools, one middle school, one comprehensive high school, three small continuation high schools, plus an independent K-12 learning center program. The District has approximately 480 employees, and has maintained steady student growth.
