We Believe :

We use God's Word as the guide for developing our connection process. In Exodus 18:13-16 we read that when Moses was struck with the awesome responsibility of caring for thousands of Israelites, he was given wise advice by his father-in-law. He was told to break up the large group into smaller groups and place a godly leader in charge of each. The "large" had to become "small" for better organization, accountability and community. One man could not lead the greater group, but many leading smaller groups could accomplish much.

At Calvary we are doing the very same thing by both growing larger and smaller at the same time. Small groups exist to connect people relationally for the purpose of:
-Growing in Christ-likeness
-Loving one another
-Contributing to the work of the church
-Glorifying God
-Making disciples

Our adult education and elective classes as well as our couples, men's, women's and small group ministries, provide the very best way to be connected. Within these groups you will have service opportunities, ministry positions, social events and more to help you get more.

Purpose :

To help every person find and experience God's purpose for their life. Most simply stated, this is "to glorify God and enjoy Him forever."

To help us get our arms around this infinitely significant purpose for our lives, we view it in three relational parts:

As a believer grows in these three focuses for their life, they will glorify God and enjoy Him...now and forever.

Vision :

We see a place where people come together to celebrate God with expectation...a casual, gracious place where people love each other...with folks breaking out in prayer or laughter in the hallways . . . a place of community.

We envision a training base where disciples of Jesus are grown and prepared to serve God.

We see believers trained in the basics of the faith (how to walk with God, how to study the Bible, how to pray, how to share your faith, etc.).

We see believers sharing Christ actively with their unbelieving family and friends.

We see unbelievers coming to faith in Jesus Christ and enlisting them to serve Him at Calvary and beyond.

We see believers knowing how God has uniquely shaped them, serving where they "fit."
