About Us
On August 18, 1938 in Talco Tx, a group of Baptist people met in the Presbyterian Chapel, where they had been conducting a revival meeting for the purpose of organizing a Baptist Church. This church was to be affliated with the Pittsburg Association of the Baptist General Convention and the Southern Baptist Convention. From this inception, the Calvary Baptist Church originated.
