We believe that the Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired, and it is a perfect treasure of heavenly instruction: that it has God for its author, salvation for its end, and truth without any mixture of error, for its matter; that it reveals the principles by which God will judge us; and therefore is, and shall remain to the end of the world, the true center of Christian union, and the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and opinions should be tried. We believe in the verbal inspiration of the Bible, both the Old and New Testaments in the original manuscripts, and preserved for us today, according to God's will, in the Authorized King James Version.

the Lord's supper is a provision of unleavened bread and the fruit of the vine representing Christ's body and blood, partaken of by believers, in commemoration of the death of their Lord and Saviour, showing their faith and participation in the merits of His sacrifice, their dependence on Him for spiritual life through His resurrection from the dead, and their hope of the soon coming of the Lord Jesus Christ for His own.
