Committed is Calvary Chapel of La Habra, a fellowship founded on the lordship of Jesus Christ -- that He is living and powerful and wholly capable of changing the lives and eternal destiny of those who deny themselves, take up their cross and follow Him. Our supreme desire is to know Jesus Christ and to be conformed into His image (Proverbs 16:3).

We believe that the scriptures are the inspired, infallible, inerrant, authoritative Word of God. Therefore, we place a great emphasis on the teaching of the Word.

We believe in the preexistence an d full deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, who through the incarnation became man without ceasing to be God -- fully human and fully divine, in one person.

We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three co-equal, co-eternal, co-substantial Persons -- the Trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe in the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation because of the exceeding sinfulness of human nature; that men are justified only by God's grace received by faith through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.

We believe in the present indwelling ministry of the Holy Spirit, enabling the Christian to live a godly life. We believe that the gifts of the Holy Spirit are valid for today's church.

We believe in the rapture of the church, where Jesus Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, the trumpet of God will sound, and the dead in Christ will be taken up first, then we (His Church) that are alive will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.

We believe in the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, in which He will return with His bride (the Church) to destroy all those who oppose His right to rule as Messiah over the earth.

We believe in a Final Judgement by Jesus Christ, where those who have received Him as their personal Lord and Savior will inherit eternal life with God, and those who rejected Jesus Christ will face an eternal, righteous punishment in Hell.
