At Calvary Community Church, we are guided by our purpose and our core beliefs taken straight from the Biblical model of a community of believers.

Our Purpose

Calvary exists so that we may glorify God together as we love one another, grow to be like Christ, serve others, and share the good news of Jesus Christ.

We do this – all for God’s glory – by:

- Bringing People In … to a relationship with Jesus and our new spiritual family
- Building People Up … as we begin living the way Christ created us to live
- Training People For … serving in areas of our abilities and passion
- Sending People Out … to impact the world with the life-changing news of Jesus

Christ-Centered: We want every aspect of our lives to reflect our devotion to Jesus Christ and we value gathering for celebrative worship to express that.

Biblically Based: We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and we are committed to teaching and obeying it.

Culturally Relevant: We seek to live out our faith in a real way and in the culture in which God has placed us.

Outreach Focused: We have a radical commitment to reaching out to those who are without faith in Christ.

Constant in Prayer: We believe that our relationship with Christ can be truly healthy when we are in daily communication with Him.
