Canajoharie and the surrounding towns contain have much lower than average numbers of people of color, when compared to the rest of New York State. This is changing however and as people of color move into this area the need for allies and support systems for these families and individuals grows. This group is designed to begin a dialog between people of color in Canajoharie and the surrounding area about their needs and concerns as well as to provide networking and social opportunities.
