The Capital District Fly Fishers (CDFF) is a local not for profit organization with members from the Capital District Area and contiguous counties. The CDFF is an affiliated club of the Federation of Fly Fishers, an international organization whose goal is to "Conserve - Restore - Educate Through Fly-Fishing". The club participates in events such as youth and adult fly fishing and fly tying programs, take a Vet fishing, DEC outdoor programs, Casting Clinics and more. We were instrumental in making the Fishing Access for Challenged Individuals, located on the Mohawk River in the Town of Halfmoon a reality.
