CASA of Humboldt is a local non-profit organization that has served over 1,000 children in our community since 1991. We train volunteers four times a year to become Court Appointed Special Advocates, who are paired with abused and neglected children who have been removed from their homes and are making their way through the court system.  These volunteers stand by the children in court and in life, listening to their fears as well as their dreams. They are caring and consistent adults who commit to visiting their child weekly, for one year. Volunteers are also needed for one-time events and office support. More than half of our funding comes through local donations. We'd love your support as a volunteer or donor!
