The Cedarburg Senior Chorus enjoys performing for many senior oriented organizations such as Newcastle Place, Alexian Village, Luther Haven, Womens Clubs, etc. We like to share our love of music with one and all. Our typical concert is about one hour and includes the 20 member chorus and accompanist, performing spiritual, gospel, ethnic, old favorite, and show tunes, in 2, 3, and 4 part harmony. The program is tailored to the season, such as Valentines Day, St. Pat's, Mother's Day, 4th of July, Thanksgiving and Christmas. We also have solo and small group performers, for a wide variety of mostly upbeat pieces that round out a performance. We always include a few pieces that "every senior knows" from the 20's to 50's era and encourage the audience to sing along. We prefer to perform Mondays between 1 and 3 PM, or if necessary Wednesdays at same time period. We restrict our travel to northern Milwaukee, northeastern Waukesha, and southern Ozaukee and Washington counties. We need: a room large enough for about 20 singers plus your audience; good lighting is appreciated; and a piano in reasonable playing condition.
