About Us:

Charlotte Public Schools is located in the City of Charlotte, Michigan and surrounding townships in northeastern Eaton County. The district is comprised of four elementary schools, one middle school and one high school. The district covers an area of 124 square miles with a total enrollment of over 3000 children.

Charlotte is the county seat, with a population of approximately 8,500, supporting a variety of businesses and residents. Charlotte's geographic location is in close proximity to three major universities, several private colleges and community colleges, the State Capitol and the State of Michigan Historical Museum. It provides advantages for a variety of cultural and employment opportunities for its residents.
