Chowder Fest proceeds benefit the Legal Aid Foundation of Santa Barbara County (Legal Aid). Since 1959, Legal Aid has provided legal services to those most in need in our community.
Legal Aid's mission is to provide high-quality civil legal services to low-income and other vulnerable residents in order to ensure equal access to justice. The organization changes lives by providing clients advice, information, and legal representation. Attorneys and staff also participate in community legal education.
Legal Aid's vision is a community where low-income people and other vulnerable residents are empowered to thrive and where all residents have meaningful access to the civil justice system.
